Xylo presents a talk entitled "Investigating acoustic behavior and geographic variation of a cryptic species: the striped cusk-eel" co-authored by Tom and Rachel. Tom presents a talk entitled "Passive acoustic monitoring reveals noise avoidance by a soniferous fish in a global port" co-authored by Xylo, Sydney, and Rachel.

Paul, Kobi and Xylo attend the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology Meeting, Atlanta, GA; Xylo presents “Daily calling patterns of oyster toadfish and striped cusk-eels in urban and non-urban soundscapes” coauthored by Rachel, Adrian, Kara and Tom; Kobi presents “Melatonin regulation of dopamine in the auditory system of a vocal fish” coauthored by Xylo, Yassir, Rachel, Kara and collaborator Joe Sisneros; Paul is the chair and co-organizer for "Sensory biology and behavioral endocrinology of fishes: a special session honoring the work of Karen Maruska" and presents “Beauty in the fish brain: neuroanatomical insights into physiology and behavior.”
